Global Research Education & Training (GR8) fosters public trust in the people, processes and results of animal research through strategic collaborations that engage stakeholders worldwide.
Beginning in China, GR8 will serve as a portal for the provision of world-class education and training in the care and use of laboratory animals that meets or exceeds the expectations of Global Pharmas.
Founded by Jayne Mackta, who retired as president of the New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research after 20 years of service to the biomedical research community, GR 8 will facilitate networking and access to global resources that advance the adaptation of best practices in a culturally appropriate way. GR8 has the support of international animal research experts, especially leaders from global biopharmaceutical companies, who recognize and are responsible for managing the risks associated with outsourcing animal studies and/or developing alliances and partnerships, particularly in Asia.
